FRIENDS HELPING BREWSTER SENIORS

Enhancing the Lives of Brewster Seniors Through Programs, Social Activities and Support.

Welcome To the Holiday Season (already!)

“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” — Roald Dahl

The Friends are grateful that they have the opportunity to help enhance the quality of life for our community’s seniors through advocacy, support, and enriching activities. Thanks to the generosity of our members, it is possible for us to continue our mission, which is to provide services that help seniors live healthy, productive, and meaningful lives with dignity and security, as well as supporting some of the programs and projects of the Council on Aging. From health and wellness activities to advocacy and social trips, we support Brewster seniors in many aspects of their lives. Our flagship project, the Sea Captains’ Thrift Shop, offers a variety of gently used items, with all proceeds supporting our programs for Brewster’s seniors.

Please consider becoming a Friend! Your $15 annual membership helps other Brewster seniors while offering you the opportunity to make friends, keep updated with our newsletter, enjoy reduced costs on most events, and access a variety of activities! Imagine accomplishing all that for just four ($0.04) cents a day!

BTW, did you hope to attend the Cape Symphony Holiday Concert with us? Regretfully, we sold out of our tickets, ordered some more, and now we’re out again. In the future, try to get your order in as quickly as possible. The quickest way is by using this site and paying online. Yes, we did have some glitches, but they’re fixed now!

Having said all that about the Symphony tickets, please don’t wait to sign up for the Christmas Holiday luncheon. We’ve got reservations at Old Yarmouth Inn, but again, we’re somewhat limited in the number of people that can attend. Please sign up soon so that you don’t miss out. Go to “Join Us”, then “Events, Trips & Meetings” and choose the Holiday Luncheon. You’ll be guided through the process of choosing your preferred entree, either as a member or non-member. Then you’ll be asked to pay online. If you don’t want to use the online portal, please stop in Sea Captains’ Thrift Shop or mail in your reservation soon.
